Elio Montanari
Alexander Brodsky, James Lee Byars, Cai Guo-Qiang
Elio spent his life photographing artists at work. This book gives three of them a chapter each: Alexander Brodsky building a timber house on the water in Venice, James Lee Byars in his black hat and gold suit, and Cai Guo-Qiang's sculptors modelling Venice's Rent Collection Courtyard for the 1999 Biennale. I retouched the photographs, designed the 468 pages and prepared the book for print.
