The brief

The website was five years behind the studio. It listed pole levels only, while Instagram showed high heels and exotic, aerial hoop, stretching, hula hoop and poi, kids' classes and more than fifteen instructors. There was no schedule, no booking link and no WhatsApp; every booking happened in Instagram messages, and the free trial class wasn't on the site at all. Even its green and yellow were the theme's, not the studio's.

The idea

Start from the studio itself: its blush and rose, the line-drawn B with a pole through it, terracotta walls and an oak floor. Then make booking the main action on every page: a weekly timetable where every class has its own Reserve and WhatsApp buttons, and a free trial form that fills itself in from the class you picked.

Moments

4 to try on the site
  1. 01Seven worlds, one poleThe classes as a list; a short clip of each one follows the cursor.
  2. BU HAFTA STÜDYODA, the weekly schedule, with the monogram drawn in thin rose lines
02This week in the studioA weekly timetable you can filter by class, with Reserve and WhatsApp on every slot.
  3. The booking form: class, level, preferred days and time, name and phone, beside three steps on wine red
03The free trial classThe form fills itself in from the slot you picked. After sending, WhatsApp opens with the request already written.
  4. DİREĞE ADIM ADIM on wine red, beside the levels Beginner 01, 02 and 03 on a vertical line
04Step by stepThe levels, as one climb.

Before and after

Same screen, same phone
Before
The old Blush Dance Studio site: a pink top bar, the logo and menu, and a large photograph of the studio sign
The old site on a phone: the sign photograph and “Pole dans nedir?”
After
Blush Dance Studio: the new homepage
The homepage on a phone: BLUSH and POLE over a dancer, with the free trial class button

The site it replaces: WordPress, 2021, on a theme made for shops. Same studio, same photographs, same logo.

Under the hood

Full-stack, front to server
  • Astro, Tailwind, GSAP

A static site in Astro 7 and Tailwind CSS 4, with GSAP and Lenis for the motion: 33 pages in Turkish and English.

  • Forms that arrive

Booking, contact, private lessons and pole parties, and instructor applications with a CV upload, on Netlify Forms. Each one tested end to end with a real submission.

  • On the home screen

It installs on a phone like an app, with a dark status bar, an update prompt and a page for when you're offline.

  • Found in both languages

Turkish and English linked page by page for search engines, the studio described as a dance school and local business, and the FAQ as questions and answers.

  • Turkish in capitals

Loanwords stay HIGH, not HİGH; Turkish names keep their dotted İ; display lines leave room for Ç and Ş.

  • Content in data files

Classes, timetable, instructors and FAQ live in plain data files, so the studio's week changes without touching a component.
